Weekend Warrior Picks: Begging for More

Weekend Warrior's Picks is our weekly feature where we show you what to watch for over the weekend. Sports related, movies related, life related... you get the picture.
Man am I excited about the opening of Epic Carnival, you guys have no idea. It really is a cool concept, and I hope alot of you have made a stop or two over there to check out some great posts, and have a little fun (or as much fun as you can have with two hands on the keyboard). Anyways, time to get into another Weekend Warrior Picks:
FRIDAY
MOVIES:
I Now Pronounce you, Chuck and Larry

Comedy of the Summer? Perhaps. I'm not one to ever read movie reviews, but I might check them out for this one. Adam Sandler has lost a little magic if you ask me since Big Daddy, so him returning to a humorous role again (for once) is refreshing. Kevin James is always great, no matter what the situation. Not to mention Jessica Biel is in the movie. By the way, does anyone else feel like their intelligence is being insulted now that she's on the "Who's Now" segment? I feel like ESPN is just calling me an idiot, that she's supposed to be some sort of "Now" expert, and I'll listen to anything with a pair of tits. That is SO true. Jessica Biel's unbelievable body. Uuuuuhhuuuhhhyyyaaaaa....
Okay, focus dude... focus.
BASEBALL:
ATLANTA BRAVES vs. ST. LOUIS CARDINALS - The Braves are hot off of a sweep by the Cincinnati Reds, and the Cardinals are getting bad news to topple bad baseball. First, their #1 starter John Carpenter is going to have his elbow taken apart and they just got embarrassed by the Bravos yesterday. Not to say the Braves are any better, but they're still in the NL East race and just welcomed back Julio Franco. By the way, you've got to check out The Dugout's version of Julio coming back. Priceless stuff. Oh, and for more blog hilarity on this matchup (or related to it), check out the statement John Carpenter's ligament recently released.
KANSAS CITY ROYALS vs. DETROIT TIGERS - I think this is the first time I've ever mentioned the Royals. So, why? Because the Tigers are solid. And we get to see Kenny Rogers take the mound tonight.
LOS ANGELES DODGERS vs. NEW YORK METS - Two of the best hitting clubs in the National League.
TAMPA BAY DEVIL RAYS vs. NEW YORK YANKEES - The Yanks seem to be making a little charge on the OMNIPOTENT Red Sox. Another series against Tampa Bay probably means another two/three wins to keep the run alive.
SATURDAY
BRITISH OPEN:

If you're not familiar with championship golf, Saturday is always "moving" day. It's Saturday when the course is usually the easiest to score (they set the pins up that way). So if you're a Tiger fan... *ahem, look for him to make his move tomorrow.
SOCCER:
CHELSEA FC vs. LA GALAXY - As you folks know, I am a big fan of soccer. Before the World Cup last year, if you asked me about it, I would've told you to go drink some battery acid. But now, I have respect for the game. With that said, Beckham's debut is going to be a little watered down... especially if he doesn't play at all. As of right now, this has the feeling of a friendly between the United States and England. If the Galaxy don't win this match with Beckham playing, all of this hype will be for naught. American's need a win from the Galaxy in order to keep the interest alive. In my humble opinion.
SUNDAY
BRITISH OPEN:
Final round Sunday. It'll be interesting to see if Sergio can hold onto the lead he's earned from the first two rounds. Alot of heat will be on one of the greatest players to never win a major.
BLOGS
Deuce of Davenport presents Air Golf
Any form of sport that allows you to use less and less of your muscles, the better. Oh, not to mention that allowing the public to use air cannons is the greatest concept ever created. Besides letting everyone run around with scissors in both hands.
100% Injury Rate have Snoop Dogg's opinion on LSU Coach Les Miles
How many times do you have to hear that Southern Cal beat Arkansas last year? How good is a team without arguably it's entire offense on the sideline? But hey, Snoop's gotta reprezent his school... peeps. Did Snoop even go to school there? Better question... did he even go to school?
The Ghosts of Wayne Fontes reveal what's on Greg Oden's iPod
Simon and Garfunkel? Culture Club? Is Oden a closet John Amaechi?
Our Book of Scrap has Cheerleader Auditions
There is heaven on Earth...
My Brain Says Rage explains why it sucks to work for a Newspaper
There's much worse... trust me. Atleast you don't work for a dry cleaner, in Florida when it's as hot as balls for the Summer. I would have no idea what that's like.
ShakedownSports has George Steinbrenner's defense for his hair
ESPN really did a shitty job in casting "The Boss" on 'The Bronx is Burning'. If Larry David WAS on the show, there would be nothing that would stop me from watching that show.
That's all she wrote folks, I'll be posting throughout the weekend when I can and of course, Epic Carnival.
(By the way, if you want more pictures of the lovely Tiffany Toth, go for it (NSFW))
