FLORIDA STATE IS STILL FLORIDA STATE

Thursday night must been Ladies Night in Tallahassee too, because everyone is going out to party... including Seminole football players:

The Tallahassee Police Department has confirmed this morning that two Florida State football players were arrested early this morning in Tallahassee.

A Tallahassee sports talk radio station, 1270 AM, is reporting that the two players arrested were starting linebacker Geno Hayes and fullback Joe Surratt.

Pictured in the top right is Joe Surratt, who is lookin' rather jovial for a mug shot. Smile! Life is wonderful is it not?

Not alot is released about this story at this current time, but atleast they've got Surratt's charges out there:

-Disorderly conduct, a second degree misdemeanor
-Resisting officer without violence, a first degree misdemeanor
-Battery on law enforcement officer, firefighter, etc., which can be anything from a first degree misdemeanor to a third degree felony.

And all of this, with a cast on his foot. You are a badass fighter Mr. Surratt.

Geno Hayes was supposedly tasered (so my hat tip tells me), making it two state of Florida students getting tasered in the same week! Great job guys!

I can't wait to see Geno Hayes mug shot. I could only hope it's half as good as this guy:

His name is Jerome Hayes. Close relative to Geno? I'll cross my fingers hope to die, stick a finger in a dead man's eye.

(Hat tip to Max and Jenn for the scoop)

UPDATE: If you want FSU's official word on this, you can check it out here. Looks like the boys are in a little more trouble than I thought they'd be.
