BRANDON MARSHALL DISRESPECTS THE LAW

Following the Broncos 31-28 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night, players celebrated deep into the night, victorious and had proven their dominance over their foe. Some players probbaly skipped out on the festivities, selecting sleep over having a damn good time. Well, Brandon Marshall was not one of those guys. He fought the law, and the law won:

Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall was arrested and charged with driving under the influence early Monday morning, according to a report in the Rocky Mountain News. A Denver police spokesman told the newspaper that Marshall was spotted driving "erratically" downtown just hours after the Broncos 31-28 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. Marshall was arrested at around 2 a.m. local time, taken to a detox center, and later released, Detective John White told the newspaper. There was no information available as to whether Marshall took a sobriety test or what his blood-alcohol level was.

That's some bad news, dude. The Bronc's are without their former Pro-Bowl wideout Javon Walker, and uhh... Jay Cutler isn't really much of a "distribution" kind of quarterback. So unless NFL Czar Roger Goodell just somehow blows this story off, I'm thinking Mr. Marshall is going to be missing a little bit of time.

But it's good to see Brandon's excited about his teams success. You have to talk serious pride when your team reaches .500. Enough pride to "IMA GRIP AND SIP".
